Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LauLi ("LauLi", "we", "our", "us"), an online fashion platform offering kids wear, adult wear, shoes, bags, accessories, school wear, native wear, family matching outfits and related products. Please read them carefully before using the platform or placing an order.

1. Introduction

LauLi operates an online fashion shopping platform under the brand promise "Kids First. Style for Everyone." By accessing, browsing, registering an account, placing an order or otherwise using LauLi, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Returns Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform. Customers under the age of 18 may only use LauLi with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on their behalf.

2. Customer Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate personal details (name, email, phone).
  • Providing a correct, complete and reachable delivery address.
  • Selecting the correct product, size, colour and quantity.
  • Reviewing all order details, totals and delivery information before payment.
  • Keeping your account login details, OTPs and verification codes confidential.
  • Responding promptly to delivery, courier or LauLi communications.

LauLi is not responsible for any loss, delay, failed delivery, missed delivery, additional fee, or order issue caused by inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or misleading information supplied by you, or by your failure to receive or respond to delivery communications.

3. Product Information & Display

We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately. However, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Colours may differ from real life due to screen settings, lighting, photography, editing software or your device's display.
  • Sizes may vary slightly between brands, fabrics, designs, suppliers and manufacturing batches.
  • Product images are for visual guidance only and are not contractual.
  • Descriptions, tags, specifications, weights and measurements may be updated, corrected or refined without prior notice.
  • Minor variations in colour, shade, finish, stitching or print do not automatically qualify as defects.

LauLi reserves the right to correct typographical errors, update listings, remove products from sale and cancel affected orders where a material listing error has occurred.

4. Stock Availability

All products are sold subject to availability. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve stock, and stock is only confirmed once payment is verified.

Where an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, LauLi may, at its discretion: cancel the affected line, refund it in full, propose a substitute, or contact you for instructions. We will not be liable for any indirect loss arising from such cancellation beyond a refund of the affected amount.

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless stated otherwise and may change without prior notice. LauLi reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any point before dispatch.

Where a clear pricing error is identified, LauLi may cancel the order, request the correct payment, or issue a refund. Discounts, coupons, promotions, free-delivery thresholds and bundle offers are optional, limited, non-transferable and may be withdrawn, reduced or modified by LauLi at any time without notice.

6. Orders

Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy the selected products. It does not amount to automatic acceptance by LauLi. LauLi accepts the order only after payment has been verified by our backend systems and the order is confirmed as ready for fulfilment.

LauLi reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or refuse any order, in whole or in part, including for:

  • Failed, pending or unverifiable payment.
  • Suspected fraud, identity misuse or chargeback risk.
  • Pricing, stock or listing errors.
  • Delivery limitations (location not serviced, unreachable address).
  • Discount, coupon or promotion abuse.
  • Suspicious or abusive account behaviour.
  • Any violation of these Terms.

7. Payments

LauLi may use Paystack and other approved third-party payment providers to process payments. Orders are only complete once payment is verified by LauLi's backend and the order status is updated to "paid".

Screenshots, debit alerts, pending bank debits, customer self-declarations or chat messages do not count as payment confirmation unless LauLi's system independently verifies the payment.

LauLi is not responsible for delays, failures, reversals, downtime, network issues, bank issues, card issues, OTP failures or payment processor issues that are outside our direct control.

Where a payment is later reversed, disputed, charged back or flagged as suspicious, LauLi may, without prior notice, cancel the order, suspend delivery, request repayment, restrict the account and take any other reasonable recovery action.

8. Bank Transfer Payments

Where bank transfer is offered as a payment option, your order is only processed after LauLi confirms receipt of the funds into the official LauLi account. You must use the exact reference or order number provided at checkout.

LauLi is not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect references, partial transfers, transfers to the wrong account, or transfers made to any account not officially designated by LauLi.

9. Delivery

Delivery dates, time windows and ETAs are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by courier capacity, weather, traffic, security conditions, public holidays, incorrect address, unreachable phone, or any other event outside our reasonable control.

LauLi is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or by inaccurate or incomplete customer information. Where delivery fails because you are unavailable, unreachable, or have provided incorrect details, additional re-delivery fees may apply and may be charged to you before re-dispatch.

10. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

All returns, exchanges and refunds are subject to the LauLi Returns Policy. Items must generally be returned unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged and with all original tags and packaging where applicable.

LauLi may reject returns that fail inspection. The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom, made-to-order or personalised items.
  • Clearance and final-sale items.
  • Hygiene-sensitive items such as underwear, swimwear, socks, earrings and hair accessories.
  • Items that are worn, washed, damaged, stained, altered, incomplete or missing tags.
  • Items returned outside the allowed return window.

Refunds are only processed after LauLi approves the return or confirms refund eligibility. Refund processing times depend on banks and payment providers and are outside LauLi's direct control.

11. Size & Fit

Size charts, fit notes and model measurements are provided as guides only. You are responsible for choosing the correct size for the intended wearer. LauLi is not responsible for size-selection mistakes. Exchanges, where offered, are subject to stock availability and the Returns Policy.

12. Discounts & Promotions

Discount codes, vouchers and promotional offers:

  • May expire and have strict usage limits.
  • May apply only to selected products, categories or order values.
  • May not be combined with other discounts or offers.
  • May be cancelled, reversed or withdrawn at any time.
  • Do not create any right to future discounts or compensation.

LauLi may cancel any order where discount abuse, code sharing, technical manipulation, multi-account exploitation, or pricing exploitation is suspected, and may restrict the relevant account.

13. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. LauLi may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts at its discretion, including for:

  • Suspected fraud or impersonation.
  • Abusive, threatening or harassing behaviour.
  • False claims, repeated failed payments or chargeback abuse.
  • Security concerns or suspicious access patterns.
  • Violation of these Terms or any LauLi policy.

14. Prohibited Use

You must not, and must not attempt to:

  • Commit fraud or manipulate payments, refunds or chargebacks.
  • Abuse discounts, coupons or referral schemes.
  • Access, probe or interfere with admin areas, internal APIs or back-office tools.
  • Disrupt, overload or attack the platform, its hosting or its providers.
  • Upload viruses, malicious code or harmful content.
  • Scrape, copy, mirror or republish LauLi content, images or product data.
  • Impersonate another person, business or entity.
  • Use LauLi for any unlawful, harmful or infringing purpose.
  • Interfere with checkout, payment, inventory or order systems.

15. Intellectual Property

The LauLi name, logo, brand identity, tagline, colour system, layout, copy, graphics, product photography, product presentation, code and platform features are owned by LauLi or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, imitate, resell, modify, frame, mirror or create derivative works from any LauLi materials without our prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

16. Third-Party Services

LauLi relies on third-party providers for payments, delivery, hosting, analytics, messaging, email and similar services. LauLi is not responsible for any downtime, errors, delays, data handling, interruption or separate terms of those third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LauLi, its directors, employees, suppliers and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive losses, including (without limitation) loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of opportunity, delivery delay, third-party failure, device or network issues, customer misuse, or any event beyond LauLi's reasonable control.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, LauLi's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for that specific order.

18. Force Majeure

LauLi shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government action, regulatory changes, logistics disruption, internet or power failure, payment-provider failure, security incidents, civil unrest, fire, flood, or any other unforeseen event.

19. Account, Order & Service Restrictions

LauLi may, without prior notice, suspend accounts, cancel orders, refuse service, block transactions, restrict access or take any other reasonable protective action where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, payment risk, security concerns, repeated returns abuse, or any violation of these Terms.

20. Changes to These Terms

LauLi may update or modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes took effect. Your continued use of LauLi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
